So, you are considering being a part of our Camp 33 team?

 

AWESOME!!

 

We are looking for Christian young adults age 18-25 to serve as Peer Counselors and married couples or individuals to serve with us as Camp Parents.   We also need Jeep Dads.

 

Commitment:

Camp 33 runs on weekends from June thru August. You need to be able to serve at least ONE camp each summer to stay active. You will need to arrive in Running Springs, CA between 4-6pm on Friday, and stay thru Sunday at approximately 2pm. Volunteers are not asked to lead devotions. Just help out, be encouraging, and have fun!

 

Camp 33 is based on this:

If I heard bad things about you, should I believe them or find out the truth? Well, kids have heard about God on social media, sitcoms, and even mean people. We desire to share with them who God is using the Bible and giving them a GREAT fun weekend in the process. By Sunday afternoon we hope they will be able to make an educated decision about what to do with God, on their own.

We do not preach family, but we model it using moms, dads, and Christian kids their own age that just ride along for fun. And its amazing.

 

Homework:

This will take you some time, but is really important for you to do. Since Camp 33 is an extension of our outreach ministry, we would like you to know the big picture. So, BEFORE you fill out your application,  please do the following (if you have not already done so):

• Go to EngageToGoMinistries.com and go thru the entire site! Watch the videos and read thru all the content!
• Sign up for our Engage E-News using the Subscribe form
• Join our Facebook Prayer Team “Until Heaven is Crowded” (link is found under Follow Us)
• Watch the Gospel video on plurway.com so you know what the ravers watch prior to Camp 33.
• Review the camp33.org website where campers sign up to attend.

If, after completing your “homework”, you still feel God may be calling you to this ministry, the next step is to complete the application.  You can complete it online or download a copy for completing “offline.”

If you choose to complete the application offline, you can submit it as follows:

Process:

The application process goes through several steps and generally takes several weeks.  You can help keep the process moving by prompting your references to respond in a timely manner.  (We will email or call them for their reference.)   You may also want to remind your pastor to submit his letter/email of reference.

The process generally flows like this:

Application Received → References Received → Board Preliminary Approval → Phone Interview → Background Check → Final Approval → Orientation and/or Training
